About

Youxi Huang.

An independent Positioning Strategist working on how companies will be understood at high-stakes cross-border moments.

The work

Before a cross-border financing, listing, acquisition or market-entry decision, Youxi helps management teams determine how investors, regulators, partners and other consequential audiences are likely to read the company, where that reading departs from the company's own account, and how the gap may affect the decision ahead.

The judgement is translated into a narrative architecture that investment banks, lawyers, investor relations and communications teams can use in their own workstreams. The practice remains independent of those execution roles and of the transaction outcome.

Evidence in use

Independent analyses of specific cross-border company situations have been forwarded by executives at cross-border companies and boutique advisory firms.

Separately, a two-page note on inconsistencies across a European software company's country sites led its VP Marketing to correct two of those pages the same day and send back the updated links.

The method behind the judgement

NPA (Narrative Power Analysis) was proposed by Youxi Huang and is used to support this work. NPA examines who controls interpretation, where legitimacy gaps form, and how those gaps travel into institutional decisions. Its method library and applications are published on this site so readers can inspect the reasoning rather than rely on a claim of expertise.

Continuity

Core research, management discussions and the conclusions presented to a client remain with the same practitioner. The work comes before the legal, financial, IR and communications advice around a transaction, and it is built to be used by the teams responsible for that advice.

Read the method, see it applied, or start a first conversation around the decision ahead.
